Surcharge: 5% Surcharge on Net 
Starting on October 22, 2021 Humanscale will be implementing a 5% NET Raw Material Surcharge. We have started adding this as a line item on the quotes until our quoting tool will have it generate automatically at the bottom of the quote. The surcharge is only on the product, not the small order fee. This fee will need to be a separate line item on the PO when stating “Raw Material Surcharge”.
 
At this time, the only EXEMPT clients are GSA and IDIQ Contracts. Our contracts team is reviewing all the national contracts and accounts to see if any of them are exempt based on the language in the contract. At this point, assume no one besides the Federal Government are exempt until I receive an official list of additional national contracts and accounts that qualify for exemption.
 
please let me know if you have any quotes that we have done prior to October 8, 2021 (date of Humanscale’s surcharge announcement) where this surcharge may be an issue if order is placed after 10/21. I cannot guarantee that the fee can be waived, but I’m happy to try.
